Red Mint

This design was created as part of zero waste project. Zero-waste is a design technique that eliminates textile waste at the design stage. For this design, I took inspiration from flower leaves. The leaf design was printed on equally sized fabric sheets to avoid any waste. I folded fabric squares into leaf patterns which were hanged together to form the skirt. I also created a flower pattern that was attached to the dress top. This design was presented at the runway fashion of dreams arranged by the West Virginia University.
